Application

The competition is open to guitarists of any nationality and any age.

Application fee is 50 euros (free for applicants to the courses of 2nd "Alvaro Mantovani" international guitar festival); deadline is 16th june 2009. Those who have to pay the application fee must pay on this bank account: IBAN IT 27 V 01 0057 2240  0000  0000  0791; SWIFT BIC   BNL II TR

Rounds

The competition is in two rounds:

- Eliminatory round, 5th july 2009, 10.00 a.m.

- Final round, 6th july 2009, 11.00 a.m.

No more than three competitors will be accepted for the final round.

All round will be open to public.

Required pieces

- eliminatory round: 1) a piece composed by the composer Francesco Iannitti Piromallo; it will be available for download on this website from 1st june 2009; 2) a 7’ free piece.

- final round: free 10’ program; pieces of the eliminatory round CANNOT be repeated.

Prizes

1st prize: a concert in the 2010 edition of the Festival; free application fee to the courses of 2010 edition of the festival. Cup and 1st prize diploma.

2nd prize: free application fee to the courses of 2010 edition of the festival. Cup 2nd prize diploma.

3rd prize: free accomodation for the 2010 edition of the festival. 3rd prize diploma.
